Suir Shipping are currently seeking to hire a Warehousing and Agency Assistant Manager to join them at the Stevedoring and Ships Agency operation at Belview Port, Waterford. This is a full time position.

What will you be doing?
The Warehousing and Agency Assistant Manager will work under the operations manager to ensure the smooth and efficient day to day operations in a busy port environment.

Our Weighbridge Operator responsibilities will be:
• Operate the computerised weighbridge stock system
• Stock recording, monitoring and sampling
• Ensure the site is maintained in a safe and clean condition at all times
• Provide a customer friendly service assisting customers, hauliers and visitors when necessary
• Maintain organisation records and standards to highest level (TASCC / ISO etc.)
• Read and reply to emails from Customers and suppliers
• Other general administrative duties

What skills and qualities will you need?
• Good timekeeping is essential
• Proven written and oral communication skills
• IT literate and good numerical skills
• Be adaptable to deal with new operational problems as they arise operating as part of a larger team
• Administrative and Customer Service experience
• An ability to work under pressure
• Availability to work overtime on week-ends and evenings where required.
